Name Irene D'AntòAbout She was born in Anagni, the 13rd of October 1984. She is a painter and an illustrator. She has always showed a considerable vocation for drawing and using the colours. She was encouraged and sustained by the family, and undertook the path of the art world. After the artistic high school (draftsmen for the architecture and the furnishing 2002/2003), she moved to Rome where in 2006 she took the degree in Illustration and Multimedial Animation at IED (European Institute of Design) Her thesis project "Regalati - campaign for donation of organs" was showed in "As-saggi e talenti", during Enzimi2006, an event organized in Rome from the magazines NextExit and Zone Attive. In 2005 she took part of the event "Tutto in una notte" IED, Rome, followed by the publication of the catalogue. In 2006 she collaborated at the video clip "Hybrid moments" by the group "Me for rent", broadcasted by "MTV Brand New" and "ALL MUSIC Extra". At the same time of painting and drawing, she cultivated the passion for photography, and in 2007 attended the Roman Institute of Photography. She collaborated at the poster, winning the first prize in the 7th edition of “Mostra della Minerva” – Salerno. She was always been interested in human subjects, and realized Roman restaurateurs’ portraits for "ACQUA CLAUDIA", for a guidebook through the restaurants in Rome, in collaboration with Sanpellegrino and IED, with the consequent publication of the book "Ritrattoria Romana, un viaggio tra i locali di Claudia" In 2008 she illustrated, for Caleida agency in Rome, the advertisement of Calabria Region, for the local authority for Culture: Project for high education and culture in Calabria. In the same year she taught at Public Institute of Arts in Anagni: project open schools "Lectura Dantis”, illustration course on the Divine Comedy. Since 2007 she has been showing her works in several exhibitions in different places in Italy and Europe, and she has been publishing on many webzines and on national and international magazines. |
